Firstly, I am an SEO newbie. So this post will probably not attract SEO masters who plays on this busby games, hehe And, this competition is the first SEO competition for me. I’ve never learned SEO before this game, however, the other players teach very good lessons on their websites.

When I first read the announcement of the contest on a blogger’s blog, I wondered what a “busby” word means. I searched through the Internet and found no clues except from busby contestant websites. I think it’s just a word with no meanings. Maybe it’s for a good start for everyone, because if a common word used, like say “Automotive SEO Test” then websites that already optimize the keyword would have the benefit while other contestants have to start from the beginning. So, “Busby SEO Test” is just fair.

Then I applied the contest. I use the domain ipmawi.org, my domain that’s been idle for few months and never been optimized. Since I am new to SEO business, I use everything I know of and publish this blog. In those times, I learn that optimizing a web takes time, especially optimizing a brand new web that’s never been indexed by Google before. On the first month, I made to be among the top 40s, I think because the SEO masters are on the way of optimizing the Busby SEO Test keyword. But as the time goes, the masters’ web took away position and ipmawi.org’s rank dropped and not listed on the first 100 list. I think it’s my fault that I never updated the content while I was studying seo-logy. Before my web rank drop further, I updated some of my post and added things. It helped, my website rank grew up and listed among the top 90s. I hope it’ll go better than it is now and my website ranks better on Busby SEO Test keyword on Google search.
